The registry is the system
Every governed answer resolved a certified definition before touching data: owner, version, formula, lineage. That resolution step — not the model — is what made the answers reliable. It's the layer most companies skip, and the one we build.
Refusal is a designed behavior
When no certified definition existed, the governed system declined and named the owner and the unblock path. The ungoverned one answered anyway — fluently. A copilot that never refuses is the one to worry about.
Deterministic, on purpose
Same question, same registry, same answer, every run. Governed answers are reproducible by construction — the demonstration inherits the property. The fictional dataset is labeled on the canvas because evidence over assertion applies to demos too.
